Specialized Cognitive and Functional Occupational Rehabilitation

Patients may continue to experience significant limitations even when conventional imaging is normal or their physical symptoms have begun to improve. Difficulties with attention, memory, communication, visual processing, sensory tolerance, cognitive endurance, and executive functioning can substantially affect the ability to return to work, school, household responsibilities, and community life.

Speech-Language and Cognitive Rehabilitation

  • Slower processing or difficulty multitasking 
  • Word-finding or communication changes 
  • Difficulty planning, organizing, or completing tasks 
  • Reduced reading or screen tolerance 
  • Sensitivity to light, noise, movement, or busy environments 
  • Difficulty managing household, work, or school responsibilities 
  • Challenges implementing strategies independently 
  • Difficulty returning to previous roles despite improvement in other symptoms
